It's a self-assessment tool designed to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses in various business competency areas.

You may be eligible if:

  • You are an owner-manager of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Ireland. While others can take it, the focus is on those who lead and manage a team of people within an SME.

Wage Subsidy Scheme

Financial support for businesses that employ people with a disability

The Wage Subsidy Scheme gives financial incentives to private sector employers to employ people with a disability. The work offered must be for a minimum of 15 hours per week and the subsidy is available up to 39 hours per week

Businesses with recruitment needs. 

You may be eligible if:

  • You are registered as a business with the Revenue Commissioners and are tax compliant 
  • You can offer a minimum 6-month contract to the employee.

This is a small low cost loan with minimal paperwork requirements.

You might be eligible if: 

  • For both Start Up & Established businesses with low funding requirements
  • Your business has fewer than 10 full time employees

  • Your business has experienced difficulty in securing a loan from the banks
  • Living in Ireland

Financial and technical support to become energy-efficient

With this grant, businesses can introduce energy-efficient technology, design, or processes into their buildings and facilities to be more sustainable and competitive

Businesses that want to design and build energy efficient assets. 

You might be eligible if: 

  • Your project is committed to achieving EXEED certification 
  • Your project represents good value for money for the taxpayer 
  • Your project contributes to Ireland’s national climate policy goals 
  • You comply with the specific requirements and regulations outlined by the SEAI

JobsPlus Subsidy

Provide an unemployed person with a job opportunity

JobsPlus is a financial incentive to encourage employers to offer job opportunities to unemployed people.

Businesses with recruitment needs but need to manage the cost of employment. 

You may be eligible if:

  • You are registered as a business with the Revenue Commissioners and are tax compliant 
  • You offer full-time employment of at least 30 hours per week, over a minimum of 4 days.
